The Baiter is a fast, but low armored Manti bug. It can be a danger if you have low health but, mainly just drives you crazy.
Characteristics[]
They are small, quick and are more of annoyance than anything else, however they are very dangerous to low HP ships when you have low health. If you have a Retribution however you will leave this in the dust. If you get one of these on your tail, introduce your new friend to a Missile Crawler or a GSA Turret. First Swarm Baiters are green-ish and move at high speeds wiggling all the time as they constantly attack. Second Swarm Baiters are red and have four limbs. Baiters always rotate as they fly.
If left unchecked or unnoticed they can chip away at the player, due to the fast speed it may be difficult to kill however the baiter is easy to find if the player is so oblivious. The weapon they use makes a distinct noise and will always fly in a circle around the player unless interrupted. If this occurs the baiter will fly away and try to circle again.
